Hello!
I'm Lacey Gebo,

CEO, and Founder of LG Education.

I have a HUGE heart and a passion to grow other stylists. I was born and raised in Claremore, OK. After graduating from Claremore High School, I attended Oklahoma State University for 2 years to pursue a business degree. I decided to take a break from college and go to beauty school... BEST DECISION EVER!!!

At the time, I always felt my parents would not support this decision, come to find out, they did! I booked it through Cosmo school and after 9 months took my test and got my cosmetology license in the state of Oklahoma. After beauty school, I moved back to Stillwater, OK and proceeded to finish my degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing.

The very first salon that I worked in was a training salon and I was the owners first assistant. I trained for 6 months under the owner and did everything from shampoo blow dry's to manicures and pedicures to hand massages and color applications. This training program gave me the confidence to take my own clients and make it in this industry, I really do not think I would have stuck with "doing hair" if it was not for this associates program.

After I graduated from college, I moved back home to Claremore, OK and rented a booth for a couple months before opening my own salon in 2013. Myself and my business partner opened Elizabeth Jean Salon in June of 2013 and grew our company to 2 locations and 28 employees by summer of 2018. I had my first baby, Taylor Coy, in January of 2018.

If you are a mother, you know a lot changes after you have a baby. Your priorities are different, and your life is different, in the best way possible. That summer, I approached my business partner to split ways. Our paths were going in different directions, and she too agreed that it was best for both parties to go out on our own journeys.

Later that year, Salon lace. was born! I started training and working with assistants in 2013 and have never stopped training since. I truly believe in growing and mentoring others. We ALL start somewhere. We ALL are beginners at one point or another. I am passionate about this industry and passionate about helping others train. Owning a business is not easy, having employees is not easy, and training other stylists is not easy. I believe in having a clear path and systems in place before ever hiring. Set yourself up for success by implementing systems and having a clear path beforehand.

The foundation of your company is everything, without this, your business will be rocky. I spend a lot of time with my family. I love sports, playing games, working out, music, puzzles, Justin Bieber, and all things Christmas! I am a follower of Jesus Christ; he is my rock and my salvation. That is a little bit about me, my career history, and my crazy life!

Let's press forward!
